Mention the "Saturday afternoon wrestling" to any Briton old enough to remember the weekly offering on TV and, chances are, they'll respond immediately with the name of Mick McManus. He is "the man they loved to hate" - a household name, and a true superstar. His much-publicised feud with Jackie Pallo made their FA Cup Final day showdowns almost as eagerly-anticipated as the football matches themselves.
