30th January 2011: VIC STEWART
Eddie Rose and Ian McGregor have announced, via the Wrestling Heritage forum, the sad news that Vic Stewart died over the
Christmas holiday period.
Eddie paid this tribute: "Usually billed from Salford, Vic was a great favourite as a solo wrestler for
many years, then with son Peter as a tag team. Vic had many TV appearances and wrestled everyone of note from light- heavyweight up.
A very good ring technician, handsome and good humoured. One of the old school!"
Our condolences to Vic's family and friends.

28th January 2011: [UPDATED NEWS] SEPTEMBER 2010 REUNION ON TV
A BBC film crew attended the September 2010 Leeds reunion. The results of their filming will be shown on the programme
"Inside Out" in the north of England. The BBC Look North/Inside Out channel on Sky is 976. John White sent in some reunion photos,
including the film crew in action. His son Ian White can be seen reading the Look North news weekly at 3pm/8pm and 10:30pm
after the National News. The Inside Out wrestling programme is now due to air at 7.30 pm on Monday 7th February 2011*,
however, they have been known to change things at the last minute.

12th January 2011: SAD NEWS
The death of the great Paul Lincoln (Doctor Death), from cancer and Parkinson's disease, has been announced.
Our sincere condolences go to his family. Many thanks, Paul, from The Wrestling Fraternity for your outstanding contribution
to British wrestling.

21st November 2010: WRESTLERS' HELP NEEDED FOR SITCOM PILOT PRODUCTION

Hi there. I was wondering if you could possibly help me? I am from Cheeky Boy Film Ltd, which is currently working on a
sitcom/pilot about British professional wrestling. My project is to try and find wrestlers (present/retired) or wrestling clubs
to aid us in getting these shots to look authentic enough for the viewer's eye. As it stands I don't have enough stuff to get
this possible sitcom looking like it should. Thankfully for me the shooting has been held back due to some of the cast being held up
with filming the next Pirates of the Caribbean movie. But I'm still having to rush about to find memorabilia. The kind of stuff I'm
needing is old photos, posters, framed wrestling kits, newspaper clippings and I'm also trying to get hold of
trophies and belts if possible. Also being available to chat if we are struggling on getting that wrestling feel to the whole thing.
We basically need their experience which is above ours. Hope you can help. Kind Regards.

21st November 2010: TRACING A BBC DRAMA FEATURING ADRIAN STREET

Hello. I came across your website and wondered if you could help me. I'm working on a film to be shown in art galleries
being made by Turner Prize-winning artist Jeremy Deller and it's about Adrian Street. I'm trying to locate a copy of a BBC drama that
Adrian appeared in from the early 1970's which was called 'A Drink out of the Bottle' - it was part of a series called 'Sporting
Scenes' and was written by Brian Glover. The BBC copy has been wiped and I'm trying to find out if any fans of wrestling might have
an old VHS copy. Can you help at all, or do you know any fellow wrestling fans who might have this? Thanks a lot. Best regards,

I have been contacted by the son of Joe Zaranoff. He had only recently been told by his mother who his father was. I am
fairly certain that Joe is now dead. However, the son would like to know where he is buried. I am sure there would be one of your
readers who would know where Joe is or where he is buried.
